LEADERSHIP

IS

WHO

YOU BECOME.

Carole Frederick-Browne, Founder

For more than 20 years, Carole has worked at the intersection of people, organizations, strategy, and communication, leading initiatives and helping organizations turn ideas into meaningful action. Her experience spans nonprofit leadership at the organizational and national levels, higher education, strategic communication, program development, and community engagement.

Her nonprofit experience encompasses the realities of organizational leadership—from strategy, program development and evaluation, grant development and stewardship, financial accountability, and compliance to community engagement and organizational capacity building. She has stewarded a $1 million grant, developed grants for nonprofit organizations, and strengthened data and reporting systems that support accountability and informed decision-making.

As a college educator for more than a decade, Carole taught public speaking, organizational communication, persuasive speech, international public relations, and mass communication. Her work has consistently focused on helping people develop their ideas, communicate with confidence and credibility, and understand how effective communication strengthens organizations and communities.

As founder of CypherTable, Carole brings these experiences together to help educational institutions and nonprofit organizations navigate complex challenges and move from conversation to action. She leads a team of experienced professionals and subject-matter experts from diverse disciplines, bringing the right expertise together around each client’s needs and creating the alignment and collaboration necessary to achieve meaningful outcomes.

A natural connector and collaborator, Carole sees the larger picture—who needs to be in the room, what needs to be connected, and what needs to happen next. She leads her team in bringing the strategic perspective, organizational insight, and collaborative expertise clients need to navigate complexity, make informed decisions, and turn strategy into meaningful results.

Carole holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She also completed the Nonprofit Institute at the University of Pennsylvania’s Netter Center for Community Partnerships.

Because leadership isn’t simply what you do. It is who you become.

THE MEANING OF THE CIRCLE

No isolated decisions.
No disconnected parts.

The circle represents the connected nature of organization and the shared purpose required to move meaningful work forward.

CONNECTION

Decisions, systems, people, and outcomes influence one another.

SHARED PURPOSE

Different perspectives can gather around a common priority

CONTINUITY

Lasting improvement is built through learning, action, evidence and refinement.

WHOLENESS

The organization is understood as a living system - not a collection of isolated problems
