Role Overview

Client is seeking an experienced systems and automation consultant to design and build the internal operating infrastructure for a lean, AI-enabled consulting firm.

The consultant will develop practical systems that strengthen project delivery, proposal development, sponsor and client management, documentation, reporting, and daily operations. This is a hands-on implementation role for a systems thinker who can translate organizational needs into usable workflows, automations, dashboards, and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Audit current tools, workflows, documents, and operational needs.

  • Design a streamlined internal operating system.

  • Build AI-assisted workflows and automations for proposals, outreach, intake, project delivery, reporting, and follow-up.

  • Establish project management, relationship tracking, and knowledge-management systems.

  • Create reusable templates, dashboards, and standard operating procedures.

  • Recommend secure, affordable, and scalable technology solutions.

  • Document all systems and prepare them for long-term use.

  • Systems audit and recommended technology stack

  • Central knowledge base and SOP library

  • Grant and subcontractor readiness dashboard

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has experience in AI operations, workflow automation, AI agents, systems design, project management, CRM or relationship tracking, knowledge management, and secure document organization.

Experience with Notion, Airtable, ClickUp, Monday, Asana, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zapier, Make, or comparable platforms is helpful. Client is tool-flexible and prioritizes thoughtful system design and practical implementation.

Engagement Structure

This is a deliverable-based, six-month engagement beginning in January 2027. The consultant will complete agreed monthly milestones, with future continuation based on performance, organizational needs, strategic fit, and funding availability.

Role Overview

Client is seeking a certified or highly experienced AI consultant to strengthen its responsible AI workforce-readiness and implementation model.

The consultant will help ensure that Client’s grant-funded offerings are credible, responsible, technically sound, and ready for sponsor and funding opportunities. This role focuses on strategic review, responsible AI guidance, grant positioning, and technical validation—not curriculum development or internal automation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and strengthen the AI Workforce Readiness and Implementation Partner model.

  • Develop a practical responsible AI framework and appropriate guardrails.

  • Strengthen grant, sponsor, scope-of-work, budget, and evaluation language.

  • Review proposed deliverables for credibility and technical accuracy.

  • Identify risks, gaps, and areas of potential overreach.

  • Advise what client should build, promise, outsource, or phase over time.

  • Support sponsor-facing talking points and limited virtual meetings when needed.

  • Responsible AI framework

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has:

  • A recognized AI certification, AI strategy credential, or equivalent experience

  • Experience in responsible AI, AI governance, workforce readiness, or organizational adoption

  • Familiarity with grant-funded, federally funded, public-sector, education, nonprofit, or workforce-development initiatives

  • Strong analytical, advisory, and writing skills

  • The ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical institutional audiences

  • Sound judgment regarding responsible and realistic AI implementation

Engagement Structure

This is a deliverable-based, three-month engagement beginning in January 2027. Month-to-month continuation may be available based on performance, sponsor activity, awarded funding, organizational needs, and strategic fit.
